KAI Group is the largest ceramic tile producer in Eastern Europe. The quality and the easy access to the raw materials in Bulgaria, combined with the tradition in the ceramic production allowed KAI GROUP to gain a unique position on the production market. Furthermore, all the major investments made by KAI and the commitment of the company to implement a customer-oriented business model supported KAI Group in becoming a valuable and important supplier, even for markets like United Kingdom, Italy and Spain- two countries famous for their production of ceramic tiles.
The strategic position of the two production centers, only 140 km away from Bucharest, the building of a strong, local team and the investments made in its own local warehouses enables KAI Romania to act as a local producer. KAI Romania's partners can easily have access to the production capacities and can transport in record time, no more than 24 hours products that are available in stock. The large number of production lines and the state of art equipements ensure a simultaneous production of more than 10 different formats. Furthermore, the proximity to Bucharest facilitates a rapid and safe transport. Thus, KAI customers will always make the best of their investment.

Over the years, KAI GROUP invested over 40 mln EUR in order to acquire and modernize 12 production lines. KAI developed an international team with extended and valuable know-how in the field of ceramic tile production in order to maximize the capacities of the two facilities located in Isperih and Shumen, Bulgaria, at no more than 140 km from Bucharest. This is why KAI Group became the only ceramic tile producer in Central and Eastern Europe, able to compete with the traditional producers from Western countries.
